Terry Edmunds recorded on 5 national selling albums c.d's toured across Canada numerous times. also Dutch Mason's guitar player from 1979-1986 and met and jammed with The Muddy Waters Band in Toronto 1977 and  has been in the Vancouver music scene from 1986 until 2010 now playing in  Ontario and Nova Scotia.

Terry Edmunds is a Guitar Player who is well versed in Blues, Rock, Jazz Fusion and Country music. He began recording on record albums at the age of 18 and has played in night clubs since the age of 12...He has played professionally all his life with some of the Maritimes finest Bands. He moved to Vancouver in his mid twenty's and his band was one of the most worked local bands in the Vancouver music scene. With an array of house gigs in Gastown and Granville St. On Granville St. at a bar named Hotel California he worked 4 nights a week for a year as the house band and hired many of Vancouver's finest musicians..including many years with Robbie King keyboard player who wrote the music for "Seasons in the Sun"; by Terry Jacks . Robbie was also a member on Motown Sessions with Diana Ross on "Stop in the Name of Love''plus Tina Turner on "What's Love got to do with it". and Brian Adams as well as many other artists.Valdy and the Hometown Band. In a 24 year timeline Terry hired these people and worked most of the larger venues thoroughout Vancouver including the Yale; the Commodore; 86 Street; The Town Pump; The Savoy. Opening for many acts like Katie Webster , Lonnie Mack, Lonnie Brooks ,Big Brother and the Holding Company, Mitch Rider Band, George Thorogood, The Charlie Daniels Band, Johnny Winter, Pat Travers and many others.

 

In Ontario where he has been living for the past 4 years he has been playing all over Southern Ontario with many people among them Scott Cushnie Keyboard player for Aerosmith; also in the band was the Mayor of Hamilton Bob Bratina a Sax player. and members of Crowbar Roly Greenway;John Gibbard; Sonny Bernardi. Terry also opened for Shakura S'Aida Blues Legend from Toronto with Bonnie Hamilton at the Hamilton Art Gallery. Played with Lori Yates doing both Workshops; Lessons ; and recording the Workshops for the participants and played Live Shows. And finally opened for Johnny Winter on his recent World 2014 Tour in Hamilton, Ontario. Hired in many cities as featured guest performer/singer in St.Catherines , Kitchener , Niagara, Brantford , Hamilton, Port Credit, Cambridge, Toronto playing this circuit and booking his own band as well with Al Richardson from Mel Brown's Band , Al Webster, drummer from Colin James, and John Lee from Mel Brown's Band.

 

Also hired local musicians in Alberta and Saskatoon, Sascatchewan and played Calgary, Edmonton, Lethbridge, Banff, Seattle Washington , Expo 86 while living out west. The Vancouver Rowing Club was a regular summer event for 5 years.. Terry also has jammed with many bands including the Delbert McClinton Band , Elvin Bishop (Paul Butterfield Band), Kathy McDonald (Long John Baldry)(Stones), Muddy Waters Band, Levon Helm and the Cate Bros, B.J. Wilson from Procol Harum and Joe Cocker's band, Sonny Rhodes.  Harp player James Montgomery. Downchild Blues Band, the Jimmy Thackery Band, Wild T., Joni Mitchell, Sue Foley. Joni Mitchell, Bonnie Bramlett -Grinderswitch, many others.

We are playing the Smokin Blues fest July 11 at 5 20 in Windsor at the Hants County Exibition Grounds

 and Music Mountain Rock Fest. August 22 in Thorburn Pictou Co. N.S.
